This partnership aims to improve access to support through the Kaan Pete Roi Emotional Support and Su***de Prevention Helpline. The agreement was signed by Arun Das from Kaan Pete Roi and Md Mahmud Hossain from ULAB, with key attendees including Ashik Abdullah, Vice Chancellor Prof. Shamsad Mortuza and Registrar.

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and United Healthcare Services Ltd. (MEDIX) signed a memorandum of understanding on 5 January 2025, aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare support for ULAB employees and their dependents.

Agreement includes healthcare facilities for faculty, administrative staff, and their family members. Dr. Hossain Imam from MEDIX and Professor Milan K. Bhattacharjee represented ULAB during the signing, which also included other MEDIX officials.

The Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) has launched its 12th edition at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. The festival, founded in 2015, showcases mobile filmmaking talent worldwide. The event introduced a refreshed logo and theme, "Latim," and featured a special screening of the Hoichoi series "Jimmi." DIMFF now offers six categories for submissions, including Open Door, Vertical Film, Short Film, Citizen Journalism, and One Minute Film.
