“With Real Madrid, I lost the Champions League semi-final where Cristiano missed the first shot, Kaká the second, and Ramos the third!

“With Chelsea, I lost the Champions League semi-final against Liverpool after three months of training for penalty shootouts!

“I saw outstanding statistics for a player, Jeremy, but he didn't play the match and was on the bench. I brought him on 5 minutes before the penalty shootout because I was sure he would score, but he missed!

“The only time we won was in the Italian Super Cup against Roma, where they missed just one penalty and it was Totti who missed it!

“Totti, who scored 500 penalties in his career, missed it. Thus, I realized that there's nothing I can do, and there's no way to prepare for penalty shootouts in my opinion!”

৪ জনের টেস্ট ম্যাচের পরিসংখ্যান। Mominul Haque অনেক এগিয়ে আছে Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar এবং Liton Das এর থেকে। আপনি জেনুইন একজন টেস্ট প্লেয়ার কে যথেষ্ট পরিমান সুযোগ না দিয়েই তাকে ছেঁটে ফেলতে পারেন না। আমরা এমনিতেই টেস্ট কম খেলি এতে করে মমিনুল হক দীর্ঘ দিন পরপর আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ খেলতে পারে। কিন্তু টিমের সবাই কম বেশি ওয়ানডে, টি২০ খেলে যার ফলে আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচের মধ্যেই থাকে তারা। এই অবস্থায় ৮-১০ মাস পরপর একটা প্লেয়ার খেলতে নেমে সব ম্যাচেই কি ১০০ মারবে? আর ৩-৪ টা ম্যাচ খারাপ খেললেই তাকে বাদ দিতে হবে? অন্যরা আত্মবিশ্বাস ফিরে পেতে সুযোগ পায় কিন্তু মমিনুল কে সুযোগ দেওয়া যায় না, তাকে বলির পাঠা বানান যায়!! এইভাবে বাদ দিয়ে মাঝে আবার ১-২ ম্যাচ সুযোগ দিলে মমিনুল খারাপ করলে তখন বোর্ড বলবে মমিনুলের ফর্ম শেষ।

আজব দেশ, যেখানে দেশের সব থেকে বেশি গড়ের ব্যাটসম্যান সব ঠিক থাকার পরেও দলে সুযোগ পায় না। আর কোন বোর্ড এমন করেছে কিনা কোন দিন কেউ জানলে বলবেন।
