On Saturday, August 8th, KO Fight Studio proudly held its August Kyu Grading, conducted by Shihan Abdullah Mohammad Hossain — President, Country Representative & Branch Chief of WKO Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh.

Our fighters stepped onto the tatami with spirit, strength, and perseverance, proving once again that Kyokushin is more than martial arts — it’s a way of life.

Today, at the Honbu Dojo, WKO Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh, successful participants were awarded their new belts in recognition of their hard work and dedication to Kyokushin Karate 💪. Under the guidance of 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻, the journey continues to inspire greatness 🥇.

Each belt awarded today represents perseverance, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of excellence 👊. Congratulations to all the students who reached this important milestone!

We are deeply honored to announce that the new ranks and belts will be officially awarded by 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻, President, Country Representative & Branch Chief of WKO Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh.

This is a significant milestone for every member. Whether you are stepping into your first orange belt or advancing further up the ranks, this ceremony celebrates your perseverance and the "Never Give Up" spirit of Kyokushin.

On August 11, history was written on the tatami at KO Fight Studio. To celebrate his 26th birthday, Senpai Siaam Ibn Ali took on the ultimate test of physical endurance, discipline, and Budo spirit—the 𝟮𝟲-𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲.

26 full-contact, back-to-back fights against a lineup of determined fighters. Through every round, every strike, and pure exhaustion, the spirit of Kyokushin prevailed.

Thank you to all the fighters, officials, spectators, and supporters who made this historic night unforgettable! OSU! 👊

On behalf of KO Fight Studio and WKO Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh, we honor the life and memory of 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝘂𝘇𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝗮 (9th Dan), Chief Advisor to the IKO Kyokushinkaikan, who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 86.

As one of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama’s original students from the 1950s, Shihan Goda dedicated his entire life to teaching, guiding, and preserving the spirit of Kyokushin. His legacy will forever inspire martial artists across all factions and generations.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, students, and the global karate community.
