A token of appreciation to the organisers of the INTRA ICE/ETE Short Pitch Tournament 2026 from the Legendary manager of ECEFC, our very own Samiul Kabir Boby bhai for successfully arranging the tournament with an auction for the very first time with peak excitement and courage.

It was a cool, memorable and truly enjoyable short pitch tournament after 4 years. Seeing the excitement and enthusiasm both the seniors and juniors have agreed to organise an auction based short pitch tournament every semester. It will be fun, exciting and a great way to bring the ECE (ICE/ETE) Family even closer together.

Stay tuned for more because an auction based football tournament is also coming soon. Thanks to the interest and enthusiasm of our players and bhai brothers.

🏏 An Eventful & Memorable Day for the ICE/ETE Family!

After three long years, the current students of the ICE program proudly organized a thrilling Short Pitch Cricket Tournament, bringing back the excitement, sportsmanship and strong bond that define the ECE Department.

The tournament served as a wonderful reunion, uniting our respected alumni and current students under one field. The enthusiasm, competitive spirit and camaraderie throughout the day made the event truly unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers Farabi Sarker , Antick Hasan Onith, Maruf Khan and al muiz for their dedication and hard work in making this tournament a remarkable success.

Niloy, Russell, Boby, Lemon, Tahmeed, Aqibul & Mashrafee — who showcased exceptional teamwork, determination and dominance throughout the tournament.

🥈 Runners-up: Team Tarek

Tarek, Abir, Rafi, Ishfaq, Onith, Reyad, Ahsan, niku and sanvir — who fought brilliantly and made the final a highly competitive contest.

A special note of gratitude to all our respected alumni who took time out of their busy schedules to participate, support and inspire the current students. Your presence made this event even more meaningful.

Today, we proudly celebrate one of the most influential figures in our football family and the ECE community, Mr.Rizvi Ahmed, who has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement / Hall of Fame Recognition by the EWU Football Community.

This recognition is not just for his contributions to football but for the countless lives he has inspired through his leadership, dedication, playing and unconditional love for his brothers and community.

The bond between Rizvi Ahmed Uday bhai and the ECE family as well as EWU BHAI BROTHERS know no boundaries.

Despite living in Australia, he has traveled back to Bangladesh for the fourth time, sacrificing his time and comfort simply to stand beside his brothers, support our tournaments and strengthen the spirit of our football community.

His presence has always been a source of guidance, motivation and unity through every success and every challenge.

As he returns to Australia once again, we express our deepest gratitude and wish him continued success, happiness and good health. Thank you for always being there for us, for believing in us and for carrying the ECE spirit wherever you go.
