Managing Director of DBL Group and Neural Semiconductor and President of Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association (BSIA), Mr. M. A. Jabbar, joined the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mr. Masato Kanda, and a select group of the country’s leading business executives to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping private investment in Bangladesh.

The dialogue emphasized the need for a supportive policy environment, reliable infrastructure, energy security, and innovative financing mechanisms that can effectively mobilize private capital and accelerate sustainable growth. Discussions also explored ways to improve the investment climate, develop bankable public-private partnership initiatives, and expand risk-sharing and financing solutions across key sectors.

From strategic discussions to global networking, South Korea became a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s growing semiconductor journey and Neural Semiconductor Limited was proud to stand at the center of it.

During the Semiconductor Roadshow held on May 12–13 in South Korea, organized by the Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association in collaboration with the Embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul, our Managing Director, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌. 𝐀. 𝐉𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐫, led the mission from the front as the President of Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association representing Bangladesh’s semiconductor ambitions before global industry leaders, researchers, and innovation partners with strategic meetings with SK hynix, KSIA, KAIST, Hana Micron Inc., Supergate and more, covering advanced packaging, AI hardware, workforce development, and research collaboration.

Accompanying the delegation was our Director of Engineering, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐧, engaging in conversations around advanced semiconductor technologies, engineering collaboration, and future-ready talent development.

One of the defining moments of the roadshow was the impactful “Silicon River” presentation by Professor 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧 from Purdue University, a visionary discussion highlighting how emerging nations can build sustainable semiconductor ecosystems through research, academia, and industry alignment.

The event also marked an important achievement with the LOI signing between Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association, KAIST GCC, and CREST, opening new doors for collaboration, innovation, and semiconductor talent growth for Bangladesh.
