Huge Respect 🎉
At 68 years old, Enedina Modesta Pérez proved that determination has no limits. As the oldest participant in the Maratón del Meridiano 2023 in El Hierro, she conquered the demanding course with unwavering spirit.
Even after suffering a fall that left her with a bruised face, Enedina refused to give up. She pressed on, crossing the finish line with resilience and inspiring everyone around her.
Her journey is a great reminder testament to the power of passion and perseverance—showing that no obstacle is too great at any age!

🚨 NEW WORLD RECORD (Again!)
American Grant Fisher broke his second world indoor record in six days by setting a new mark in the 5,000m on Friday.
The 27-year-old clocked 12 minutes 44.09 seconds at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational, to smash the mark of 12:49.60 set by Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele in 2004.
HUGE Congrats Grant! 🔥

Running 50 miles at a pace of 5:40 per mile (or 80 km at 3:35 per km), South African runner Bruce Fordyce set a world record in 1984—well before GPS watches, advanced carbon shoes, and modern fueling strategies. His remarkable 4-hour, 50-minute time remained unbeaten for 33 years and remains the second-fastest ever recorded.
