Our brother Rawnak Jahan Ranon (Forestry & Wood Technology) was diagnosed with cancer last April. Doctors initially considered his condition highly treatable, and he began a 12-cycle chemotherapy regimen in June.
Unfortunately, his condition suddenly deteriorated in September after developing severe pneumonia. Further tests revealed cancer cells in his lungs. Ranon is now in critical condition and requires intensive medical care and oxygen support.
His treatment expenses have become a major financial burden for his family, with an estimated BDT 15 lakh needed initially to continue his treatment.
