An important Forest League cricket match was played today at the beautiful Galizoo Ground in Kupwara. Both are very strong teams.
​Royal Goodwill batted first and set a target of 177 runs.
​Sultan Warriors started poorly, losing two quick wickets.
​Captain Adil Rishi and Asim Bashir then made a good partnership, though Asim played a bit too slow and looked nervous.
​Nasir Belly hit a six on his first ball but got out on the next.
​Zahoor Zolo played an amazing, fast innings and looked like he would win the match. However, after hitting a six, he was clean-bowled trying to hit another. This was the turning point of the match.
The match went down to the very last ball. Royal Goodwill won by 5 runs. Even though rain stopped play a few times, the management did an excellent job to finish the game.
​Please support your teams with respect. Do not use bad or hurtful language on social media or at the ground. Players are rivals on the field, but they are friends and brothers off the field. Fans should celebrate wins safely and maintain good behavior in society.

Alhamdulillah! I, Khalid Shah, Captain of Zoogiyar Legends, am delighted to congratulate my teammates on another outstanding victory as we defeated Binner Legends by 40 runs.

After winning the toss, we elected to bat first and posted a strong total of 167 runs. A special mention to Younis Wani (40), Tariq Rather (37), Mohammad Arif (29), and Mansoor Nabi (26)** for their excellent batting performances that laid the foundation for our win.

Our bowlers then rose to the occasion and bowled out Binner Legends for 127 runs. Younis Wani continued his all-round brilliance by claiming 3 wickets, while Khalid Shah, Haroon Rashid, and Nisar Bhat contributed 2 wickets each.

This victory reflects the hard work, discipline, and unity of our entire team. I am proud of every player who gave his best on the field and grateful to our supporters whose encouragement inspires us to perform better with every match.
