🇹🇭🥋 World Ju-Jitsu Championships – Thailand

We are proud that Thyra and Norah represented our club at the World Ju-Jitsu Championships in Thailand.

Although and could not be present in person, their dedication and guidance were clearly visible on the mat. Thanks to their training, our athletes showed great commitment and solid performances throughout the competition.

A valuable experience and a proud moment for our club!

Today was Norah’s turn at the World Championships in Thailand! 🇹🇭

She wasn’t given a bye, so she started right away against a Thai opponent — and won her first match!

Next up was last year’s vice world champion & current European Champion, a tough fight that she unfortunately lost, sending her to the repechage rounds.

There she faced an Italian competitor and claimed another victory before meeting an AIN athlete, where her journey came to an end.

What an incredible achievement after such a stressful road just to qualify and compete at this level. We’re so proud of you, Norah! ❤️🙌

She won her first match convincingly, showing power and focus from start to finish.
In the second match, she faced the current world champion and gave everything she had — an intense fight but missed the win.

In the repechage she was leading on points, but unfortunately got caught and lost by full ippon. That’s sport — sometimes only one second can change everything.

Still, we couldn’t be more proud of her determination, growth, and fighting spirit. 💪🔥

This Monday and Wednesday our athletes will step onto the mats to compete in the Jiu-Jitsu Fighting System World Championship in Bangkok.

Saturday, our bjj-lions competed in Bazel, and some great results were achieved! With 5 lions, 8 medals came in. 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medal! Congratulations guys!
