EMAR Staines Martial Arts Academy

PHENOMENAL performance from our fighters today representing the National team of Great Britain at 2023 Sutani Cup in Belguim.

We had 4 students competing and won a total of 4 trophies:

Ethan 1st place Gold 🥇
Ocean 2nd place Silver 🥈
Mariana 3rd place Bronze🥉
Lehara 3rd place Bronze 🥉

They all had many tough fights against experienced opponents from all around Europe.

Our young athletes made us proud with their strong spirit, beautiful technique and Never Give up Spirit. They put hours of hard work to prepare, absolute Warriors!

Big thank you to British Karate Kyokushinkai with Head Coach Shihan Wai Cheung for believing in our team and giving our students the great honour to compete for the National team.

All our 4 Fighters are well and injury free and on their way back to London. Back to the dojo on Monday ready for hard work and of course a well deserved Celebration 💪🎊🥳

Ethan, one of our young Warriors, has just became the New CHAMPION at "Sutani CUP" in Belgium today 🎊🥳🎊
He had 4 tough fights and he won all by Wazari or Ipon. His semi final was against a very tough opponent from the Belgium's National team and yet he totally dominated the fight and had a clean victory.

Congratulations to Ethan and his father Senpai Gilles.
This is such a proud moment for our dojo 💪

After an intensive squad session at Crawley Dojo , 4 students from our dojo have been selected to represent the National team of Great Britain for under 18.

This is such a huge achievement for our young students and us as a team.

They will represent team GB at a very prestigious International Karate tournament in Belgium tomorrow. Our students have just departed with the rest of the National team led by Head Coach Shihan Wai Cheung !

We are all so very proud with them and the hard work they put at every session.

Let us all wish them best of luck. Everyone at EMAR Dojo is very proud with our young Fighters!
