✨ ARD – BTS Monthly Wrap-Up | December 2025 ✨

December marked the end of another incredible year — and the start of a well-earned winter break ❄️ But before hanging up our skates (just for a bit), we squeezed in some final derby fun. Here’s how we wrapped things up:

1️⃣ A few ARD members swapped skates for scrums and went to cheer at a rugby game with 💪

2️⃣ & 3️⃣ Our bootcamp coaches tested their workshops during practice; sneak peeks and serious focus 👀

4️⃣ Double trouble loading for our internal Christmas scrimmage ‼️⚔️🤔

5️⃣ With absolutely amazing refs keeping things sharp 🦓

6️⃣ & 7️⃣ Two teams bringing all the vibes: Pack of Love vs One Destruction (you either know… or you don’t 😉) 🩷🩶

8️⃣ Above all, we’re grateful for everyone who helped out; on and off track 🙏

9️⃣ Those shiny helmets aren't just there to look good and protect our brain… 🪞 (thanks 🌟)

🔟 We closed out the month with an internal evaluation, fully ready to conquer 2026 🤓

Known as a true jammer magnet, May(t)hem excels at controlling space and setting the tone right from the whistle.
In their session, you’ll dive deep into jam starts: positioning, timing, and reading both your opponents and your own pack to gain the upper hand from the very first seconds. ⏱️🧠

If you want stronger, smarter, and more intentional starts to every jam, this class is a must.

A fierce and intelligent pivot with unmatched adaptability, Hell Freyja brings strategy, composure, and sharp decision-making to every corner of the track.

For our Bootcamp Weekend, she’ll be teaching a session focused on pivot skills and strategic play in every role — whether you’re jamming, blocking, or leading the pack. 🧠⚡️

November was officially Iceland Month! POD headed north for a tournament and brought home the victory, while the rest of us kept training hard, laughing harder, and making memories along the way. Here’s the full frosty recap:

8️⃣ Glaciers. Actual glaciers. Tears were shed 🥹

9️⃣ And yes… they played roller derby in the SNOW ❄️🔥

✨ November delivered big vibes, cold air, and warm hearts. Onward to December — let’s wrap up the year strong! ❄️💪
