🇧🇪 Belgian Track Championships 🇧🇪

🌲Traditionally, the Christmas holidays bring the Belgian Track Championships, and our riders delivered once again. They brought home no less than 51 medals, including 23 golds 🥇, shared across 11 different athletes.
⏱️ powered to a new 3000m individual pursuit track record, while .vydt matched the feat in the kilo.
🍫 And with 8 fourth places on top of that, our riders can be proud of their performances.

On to the next championships at the end of January 👀

🛫 Last weekend track season started for the majority of our riders 🚴‍♂️

💪🏻 Happy to see .dhooghe back on the top step after a year of injuries and illnesses. Tough times never last 👊

💨 A heavy contested points race by the Men U17 with 5 riders gaining a lap. , and .vandijk2308 did not want to back down for one another and were all involved in the decisive move, ending up 🥈, 🥉and 🍫.

Strong start to the season, keep up the good work 👊

🇧🇪 National Road Championships 🇧🇪

🥈 took silver after a super exciting race. After a 45 km attack where the lead never exceeded 20 seconds, five riders entered the final kilometer together. A late surprise attack by Robrecht earned him the title, after which Sander sprinted to second place. .vydt won the bunch sprint for sixth place.

🥉 .meeusen1 sprinted to bronze in the women’s race. After a hard race, a small group of about 30 riders sprinted for the national title.

🥇 took his 3rd victory of the season in Sinaai. Another strong performance after his 2nd place in the UCI race Menen-Kemmel-Menen.

🇧🇪 .meeusen1 and her team won the national title team time trial with coming in 🥈. In the Men’s category also came in 🥈.

🥇 Earlier this month sprinted to victory in Beernem with .caethoven taking 🥉.

🌎 European Youth Olympics 🇪🇺

🥈 Two silver medals for our riders at EYOF, an event with 49 participating countries, with the best riders Europe has to offer in the U17 category 💪🏻

🏆 took 🥈 in the Men’s time trial, 5 seconds behind a rider from Switzerland.

💐 .meeusen1 sprinted to 🥈 in the Women’s road race after an Italian rider.

With .vydt we even had a 3rd rider participating in this highly regarded event. Jules ended in the lead group just behind the 7 leaders in the road race.

🟡 Championships of (West-) Flanders ⚫️

🏆 A strong breakaway with and .vydt got caught with 2 laps to go. In a hectic bunchsprint, both of them had good positioning in the final corners until Sander got taken out by another rider and crashed. .vydt sprinted to victory and crowned himself as new Flemish champion. .caethoven managed to secure a 12th place.

🥇 won the race in Roeselare and is the new Provincial champion of West-Flanders in the U14 women’s category

🌎 International success for our youngsters 🎉

🥇 .meeusen1 sprinted to victory in the WU17 version of Gent-Wevelgem after a strong attack on the infamous Kemmelberg led to a leading group of 5 riders.

🏆 rode to 🥈 in the prologue of the Course de la Paix 🇨🇿 and took 🥉in the Queen stage. In the final time trial Sander placed 4th which was also his result in the final GC in one of the biggest stage races of the U17 category 💪🏻
