With representatives from eight countries, the event featured insightful presentations, a dynamic round table, and a scenic cycling tour along the historic Aarschot-Herentals greenway. Discussions highlighted the project's achievements and strategies for sustainable greenway development.

SIGWAY Multiplier Event in Portugal next 29 September. 🇪🇺🇵🇹

ADCS Carvalhais Associação Desportiva Cultural e Social de Carvalhais - Mirandela.

🌿🚴‍♂️ 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝!

Project partners met in Aarschot for the final Transnational Project Meeting hosted by European Greenways Association.

Day two was dedicated to the SIGWAY final International conference. An interactive round table has been organised to showcase project results and good practices from very experienced stakeholders.

We also had the opportunity to discuss all together the transferability and sustainability of SIGWAY project results.

🚴‍♀️ In the afternoon project partners and stakeholders had the chance to discover the 19km of 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲 by bike.

🛤️🗻 During the 𝐾𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑙𝑒𝑑𝑔𝑒 𝑆ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐸𝑥𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒 of the Erasmus+ Standout project in Lecco, our partner Trekkify had the opportunity to present the results of the SIGWAY project to an international audience of stakeholders.

Sigway is in line with STANDOUT project which aims to reshape urban planning, encouraging cities to adopt minimum standards and an accreditation system aligned with the European Green Deal.

➡️ The event provided a great opportunity to disseminate our results and collaborate with a global network of experts.
