Second round of the G4D Open at Celtic Manor. For a while, I was inside the top 20 and in position to make the cut, but unfortunately I won’t be part of the final round tomorrow 😞

But honestly, for once I’m not disappointed, because I would have needed to shoot a 75 gross score to make it, which unfortunately is currently impossible for me on such a demanding course.

I finish in the Top 50, and I’m really happy with this experience and with having played four days in a row, which is far from easy.

An incredible experience, with a perfect organization by the DP World Tour and The R&A.

A special mention to the physio of the tour players who worked absolute miracles. We already have a date set at the Soudal Open and the European Masters for a round of golf together.Smart Golf

And there we go — my first round at the G4D Open at Celtic Manor is complete!
The biggest disabled golf event in the world, bringing together the top 80 golfers worldwide. ⛳️🌍

I’m especially happy with today’s result considering the incredible difficulty of the course and the extreme weather conditions we faced: blazing sunshine, unbelievable rain and storms, and even hailstones that stopped play on the greens for 20 minutes! 🌦️⛈️

And of course, the level of the field is simply the highest possible, with nearly half of the players being professionals.

I currently sit just one shot away from the Top 20, which would secure the cut for tomorrow evening.
This 80 gross honestly feels like a 72 on most courses I know. And only four shots away from the Top 5 gross — so absolutely no complaints from me 🙂💪

Tomorrow’s tee time is around 2 PM, which means a good dinner tonight and some well-deserved rest before going again tomorrow.

The organization here has been absolutely outstanding, and a huge thank you to everyone supporting me ❤️🙏

I’m at the G4D Open at Celtic Manor, playing among the top 80 disabled golfers in the world! The course is incredibly tough, even the pros I played with agreed—fast slopes, smart strategy needed! The news has just come in: I’ve been invited to play in the G4D Open at Celtic Manor. THE competition that brings together the 80 best disabled golfers in the world 🙂 — for us, it’s like a major British Open 🙂

Five days next week. Now the challenge is to make the cut, especially since I’ll be playing alongside pros and players of an incredibly high level.

Il a tellement fait pour ce sport. Des compétitions chaque semaine de l’année avec une passion sans égale. Et il est le premier à m’avoir autorisé comme Handigolfeur à pouvoir utiliser mon Segway golf pour jouer il a presque 20 ans. Impossible d’oublier cela et ta générosité.
Le golf et moi, on ne pourra jamais t’oublier ❤️
