ππ¬πΊοΈ Don't miss this fascinating online lecture on in the age of artificial intelligence!
The EuroGeoSurveys Geological Mapping and Modelling expert group presents Charlie Kirkwood from the Institute for Data Science and AI at the University of Exeter, discussing how probabilistic 'properties first' mapping with Bayesian deep learning can help achieve spatial consistency at pancontinental scales.
Discover how AI can overcome traditional mapping limitations to produce high-fidelity spatially continuous geological maps with quantified uncertainty, while still respecting the importance of prior knowledge.π€π
