🚨 New workshop alert! 🚨
On Saturday 9 May, join me at Serendip Spa & Wellbeing for a special Yoga for Stress Relief Workshop ✨
The world has been going through overwhelming motions lately, and we have been changing and adapting as both our inner and outer landscapes have changed. Let's take some time to recharge and release tensions, find our centre again, through movement, breath, and meditation.
In this workshop, designed for stress relief, we will use several tools from different yoga traditions: we will start with a slow Vinyasa flow with circular motions to release tensions in the body, move into Yin-inspired stretches to rest and restore the nervous system. We will end with a Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) for peace of mind.
Accessible to all levels 🙏
Book via the QR code in the pic or via Serendip's website: https://www.serendipspa.com/special-events/stressrelief 🌸
(and enjoy that old pic of a pixie-haired, tattoo-less Emmanuelle - I like it though 😁)

15 years of teaching yoga.
Ok I missed the actual anniversary (and it might be closer to 16 but who cares)
First Vinyasa teacher, first French-speaking trauma-sensitive yoga teacher, first Vinyasa teacher trainer in Brussels - there’s been a lot of firsts in Brussels by yours truly over these 15(+) years.
Classes in studios, in gyms, at the (best experience ever!), in my own studio, in even weirder locations. Workshops, retreats, intensives, teacher trainings, online classes, I think I’ve tested all kinds of formats too. And every one was also a lesson.
Gratitude:
for telling me « hey I don’t teach here every day, when you’re done with your TT you could rent the room one evening per week for instance » (YIB 🫶🏼);
for being my 1st Vinyasa teacher even though he doesn’t know it - thank guru for videos back in the day, because Vinyasa simply didn’t exist in Brussels (yes that must be mind-blowing for most of you);
- what you taught me remains the foundations on which my teaching rests. « Practice what you teach, teach what you practice » forever and ever 🙏
- the wave and the transitions on the exhale, still a cornerstone of my practice and teaching to this day 🌊
kaminoff for making me an anatomy nerd;
and because at 49 the BDK system keeps me alive - and I blame you for BJJ ⚔️
for being my teaching HQ since 2013 (even when I take a break from teaching)
It’s not always been easy. It’s been downright disheartening at times. But it’s also been highly rewarding, and for this my dear students, I have to thank YOU ❤️🙏
Here’s to 15 more years 💫

Start (or restart) the year well! 💫
Looking forward to move and flow and breathe and meditate and set an intention with you this Saturday. Especially in the current context (understatement), we need to regulate our nervous system, fill our own well, keep our inner light on, and take care of ourselves if we want to take care of others 🙏
Only a few spots left, grab yours here and now: https://www.serendipspa.com/special-events/reset-recharge

Happy New Year 🎊 Bonne année!
I hope you had a wonderful end of year 2025, and I wish you an even better year 2026! For some of us it hopefully won't be too hard 🙏
I am delighted to see (some of) you again tomorrow at Serendip Spa & Wellbeing for not one but TWO classes: 10h-11h30 Flow & Restore (a little bit of movement, a little bit of stillness - subbing for Irina), and 12h-13h Vinyasa (not subbing, this is my own, my precious class 😇)
And don't forget we meet on Saturday 17th January at 14h30 for our yearly yoga ritual, the Reset + Recharge workshop, to start the year with intention, mental clarity, body and breath awareness 💫
Looking forward to seeing you on the mats!

🚨NEWS🚨
My dear students,
As you know, I took a break from teaching for a while, as a way to reconnect to my own practice, reconfigure life if you will, and move away from an industry that left me discouraged at times (understatement).
I needed time to do something else, to change environment - and while this is deeply satisfying, it also gave me time to reflect and realize how much I love passing on the teachings of yoga. So after a few months of exploring teaching again, I am back at my my old stomping grounds, my teaching home, Serendip.
Also, I missed you, ha.
So from September , you will find me every Saturday at 12h for an hour of Emma's special sauce Vinyasa (I will be away on Sept. 20th but the rest is already scheduled 😎). Yes, this is a regular slot.
I will also be teaching a special Full Moon class on Sunday 7th September at 17h, and a very special Yin Yang Autumn workshop, almost an immersion, on Saturday 27th at 14h30.
Last but not least, you will also find me covering a couple of Wednesday lunchtime classes there in September.
So, if you missed me too (ego speaking here), there's pleeeeenty of opportunities to come share your practice with me 🤩
See you on the mat 🙏

PS: that means we can come back to Artist of the Year playlist - who will be our regular musical "guest" for the upcoming season? 🎸
