is proposed to use physical activity as an instrument of inclusion and sociality in favour of children in a state of economic, social-cultural and disabled not inserted in stable sports contexts, to create integrated paths.

🇪🇺 Today, May 9th, we celebrate Europe Day, a symbol of unity, cooperation, and shared values among peoples, cultures, and territories.

These are the same values we experience every day through sport, which has the power to break down barriers and build communities. 🤝🏽🏅

On this special day, we are proud to host in Monopoli the CSI Interregional Artistic Gymnastics Trophy, bringing together athletes from Puglia, Basilicata, and Campania in an atmosphere of friendship, passion, and fair play. 🤸🏻‍♀️✨

An event that unites young athletes, families, and sports clubs under the values promoted by the Centro Sportivo Italiano, encouraging growth, inclusion, and participation.

And there is one more reason to be proud: Puglia has been named European Region of Sport 2026, an important recognition of the commitment and dedication our region shows in promoting sport as a tool for social and cultural development. 💙

SGAP! Final Project Meeting. Two intense and inspiring days full of exchange and future perspectives 🇪🇺

On April 17–18, 2026, the Final Project Meeting of the SGAP – Stop the Gap project took place in Bari, with the participation of international partners from North Macedonia and Croatia.

Hosted at the Regional Council of Puglia, the meeting was a key moment to reflect on the work carried out and the results achieved. The project has been implemented in the best possible way, turning ideas into concrete actions and generating a real impact on the community.

These two days were not only about reviewing the project, but also about looking ahead: the strong relationships built and the open dialogue with our partners have laid the foundation for future collaborations and new international opportunities.

We are proud of what we have achieved together. SGAP may come to an end, but the spirit of cooperation continues.

Today, in the Municipality of Krivogastani successfully was held a sports event in honor of Rare Disease Day.

The event brought together young people in a powerful show of solidarity and support for people living with rare diseases.

Through sport, unity, and shared purpose, our community sent a strong message: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.

Today in Brussels, at the European Commission, we took part in the Erasmus+ Sport InfoDay, a key opportunity to strengthen our European engagement for more inclusive and accessible sport.
We also had the pleasure of meeting EU Commissioner for Sport, Glenn Micallef, sharing perspectives and priorities for future cooperation.

It was a highly productive day, full of networking and new connections with partners from across Europe — an important step forward for expanding the StopTheGap network and developing impactful collaborations.

💙 Together, we keep working to close gaps and promote.

Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all.

We are in Prilep, North Macedonia, for the second international meeting of the Erasmus+ Sport — STOP THE GAP! project, proudly coordinated by CSI Bari.

Over the past days, we visited school gyms, social centers, and local organizations working daily to support people with disabilities. These experiences showed us how inclusive sport can truly bridge gaps, break down barriers, and strengthen communities.

This journey highlights the importance of:
• International cooperation
• Sharing best practices
• Mutual growth among European partners
• Sport as both a right and an opportunity

The project activities are progressing excellently thanks to the commitment of all partners. A special thanks goes to Marina Todoroska for her support and dedication. Being here on such a symbolic day reinforces our belief that sport is much more than physical activity: it is inclusion, dignity, and participation.
