Morning Professional Training

We are happy to welcome Nuhacet Guerra in danscentrumjette for a professional class in May!

25–29/05
10h to 12h

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULUFwdTci9o

In this workshop, Nuhacet Guerra explores the strength of the body through circular and semicircular movement patterns, working with instinctive impulses through fluidity, dynamics, playfulness, acrobatics, and intuitiveness.
Participants will explore the use of six points of support: head, shoulders, forearms, hands, knees, and feet, to maximize the function and stability of the body. The classes are divided between a mindful and focused warm-up, force and resistance play, balance and imbalance work, and jumping and falling explorations.
Through combinations and guided improvisations, dancers will work on strength, resistance, speed, balance, acrobatics, and ground reception, approaching physicality through awareness of weight, gravity, and support. The workshop also focuses on managing energy without losing dynamics, linking movements efficiently, and developing precision, coordination, stage presence, and responsiveness.
The aim is to develop and enrich the physical form of each participant while exploring intuition and instinct, discovering the body and mind as an infinite tool capable of reaching beyond perceived limits.

The full workshop costs 80 euros.
One class is 20 euros.
