BXL Tour recap!

The 10th edition of the BXL Tour once again delivered an unforgettable day on the bike.

It was great to see so many Brussels Unchained riders on the start line, from our BCF racing teams to members of the wider Unchained community.

A special congratulations to M-Adieland for securing 2nd place in the BCF Elite Women category 🥈 and to , who unofficially secured a podium position in the Cyclo Men category 👏

Beyond the results, the atmosphere along the 40km course and at the finish was incredible as always. A perfect opportunity for the Unchained community to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate another great edition of this iconic Brussels event.

Welcome riders to TGIF Friday Episode 06. The weather announced... well, just fabulous! Over 20 degrees, sunny, what more can we ask for to celebrate a long weekend.

We’ve got a nice 50km loop planned, 300m elevation gain so nothing too crazy on that front, and our ride captains to block traffic and lead you safely from start to finish in our ride. Flamingo awaits at the end with its usual 10% discount on food and drinks.

TGIF Friday S26E04

There’s another bank holiday around the corner, and it makes us reflect about assumptions. Like we are assuming the weather forecast promising a beautiful Friday will come to fruition just in time for TGIF to come back with another beautiful route in the Pajot!

As with all our TGIF Friday rides, the objective here isn’t to break any KOM or personal records but simply to get reacquainted with the Brussels community.

S2026E05 – Fast Tuesday: Belgian Summer

Tomorrow we’re heading out for a short and flat 45 km loop through Pajottenland, returning from Halle along the canal. Expect cold temperatures, some rain, and that unmistakable Belgian summer feeling. Please bring a rain jacket. Let’s see who’s a real Flandrien. 🚴‍♂️🌧️

Announcing this week’s TGIF Friday Ride. S26E03 which we’ve entitled ‘Tools Down!’

Let’s celebrate the first of may with a classic TGIF Friday Ride. Tables are booked at the arrival point of Flamingo, we take off from Roule Forest at 18h30 for a 50km loop.

And if you’re the type who likes the route in advance, you’re in luck, we even got around to publishing it on our website (see bio).

The usual TGIF vibe, we’re here to chill and socialise, speeds of 23-24km/h as our target. We stay behind our ride captains who’ll have the bracelets, whistles, and stop signs at the ready should be we be a big group!

A great ride in perspective to celebrate our social rights!

Fast Tuesday S26 E03 - 21.04.
Pacing a high-speed train

Building on last week’s technical training, this route will offer sections to put those learnings into practice. This time, we will have a much more free-flowing approach. Fast riding on the flats, with a couple of hills strategically positioned for those wanting to stretch their legs. We wait at the top and continue our high-speed train on the flats.

TGIF2026E02 - Achtung, TGIF 🚨

For the first time ever, a German double duo is leading a TGIF ride!

We’ll keep it chill and mostly flat along the canal, with three gentle climbs around Halle to wake up the legs.

As always, we finish at Flamingo Bar: bike locks, discounted drinks, and snacks waiting.

Fast Tuesday S2026E02 - 14.04.

Group Riding 101 🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️

Ever curious about how to make the most of group riding? Taking turns, doing an echelon or even leading out a teammate.

This Fast Tuesday is chance to learn and practice group riding skills in a completely flat route along canals and bike paths. We will cover the theory and do specific drills and exercises to cover these crucial aspects of road cycling.☝️This ride will be a little different.

We will focus on learning and practicing some group riding skills.

The route is a triangle and is divided in three segments. We will stop to explain the exercise and regroup at the end of every segment. Each segment will have a dedicated exercise.

Announcing our first ride: ‘Hey, welcome back!’ We missed you. 🚴🏻

So clip in, and shift up! We’re starting our rides nice and easy in order to give everyone the time to get back into shape for the upcoming season. We convene as from 18h15 in front of Roule Forest, and then from 18h30 we set off!
