I work out because I love my body, not because I hate it. π₯
It is awesome that I get to shape & build my body to my liking when working out. Before I used to work out because of negative thoughts about my body.. oh I donβt like my arms, now I need to train them to like them. Or, o no cellulite on my thighs? Donβt you dare to skip cardio! Working out was always connected to some negative thoughts, and that was why I never liked it. What changed? Itβs been a process to change my mindset but here are some tips that have helped me:
- whenever I had a negative thought about my body, I replaced it with 3 things I like about my body
- stopped focussing on what I canβt change & started working on what I can
- searched for exercises and sports that I really like & learned how to get better
- found the best workout buddy (a.k.a my boyfriend) and team (belgianpowerteam) itβs much more fun and motivating then training on my own
- found a plan that works for me
- set clear goals what I want to achieve

If only you could see what I see.. π
Life is beautiful & is meant to be lived to the fullest. As we said before, this together with complete freedom is one of our biggest βwhyβsβ. And when the why is powerfull, the how is simple. Here are some tips to get you started:
- think about your why, what do you desire most in life
- dare to dream big
- donβt see problems, see opportunities
- be aware of what you feed your body & mind
- let go of what you canβt control
- enjoy the process

Throwback to a boat trip we took a few weeks ago to the island of La Graciosa.
Making memories like these, being free, feeling the wind & the sun on our face, seeing nothing but ocean around us...
This is what we want to do more of. Having the freedom to travel &
explore new places and cultures is one of our life goals.
Why? Once you start exploring, you see that the world and life is so much more than an office, traffic jams, work & stress. There no way back from there, it can not be unseen. Life is meant to be lived & enjoyed, and thatβs exactly what we are going for! ππ«
