How intensively your horse trains gives you a good indication of which Cavalor Level suits them. But your horse can tell you a lot too.

Does your horse feel a little sluggish? Do they lack energy or struggle to keep going throughout the training session? 👉 Then it may be worth looking at a Level higher.
Is your horse often very fresh, excitable or difficult to control? 👉 Then a Level lower may be a better fit.

After all, two horses that train equally hard don’t automatically have the same nutritional needs.

So don’t just look at what you do with your horse, but also at how your horse feels. This will help you find a feed that better matches your daily training. 💪

Which level suits your horse? 🤔
Not every horse has the same nutritional needs. A horse ridden recreationally has different needs from a horse that trains intensively every day and is expected to perform at the highest level.

That’s why we use different Levels at Cavalor. They help you choose a feed that matches your horse’s training intensity and needs.

1️⃣ Level 1 – recreational to lightly trained horses
2️⃣ Level 2 – regularly and actively trained horses
3️⃣ Level 3 – sport horses that train very regularly and intensively
4️⃣ & 5️⃣ – horses performing at the highest level

Why are we at Cavalor such big fans of muesli? 🌾

Did you know that your horse makes around 900 chewing movements when eating 1 kg of muesli, compared to approximately 600 with 1 kg of pellets?
That difference matters. More chewing means slower eating and more saliva production. Saliva contains sodium bicarbonate, which helps neutralise excess stomach acid.

And muesli has another advantage: you can see what you’re feeding. 👀 The different ingredients and their structure remain visible in the feed bowl.
