🤩 Sjaman de Quarebbe is finding his special powers under the professional guidance of his Belgian owner and rider .

Turning 4 in April, this boy gets all the time a young horse needs to gradually develop into the gem he already is inside 💎.

The top character he had as a foal now also gets to be seen under saddle 👌.

It's a joy to watch this boy develop and to realise that Sjaman is in the best place he could ever be. That's the most important thing a breeder wants for his foal. All credits to Saskia 🙌.

Sweet child of mine 🌼🥰! Wasumi de Quarebbe is officially three. In two weeks, she'll have her first 2 months of groundwork and she'll get used to someone on her back. Afterwards, she'll return to the green green grass untill the spring of 2026, when she'll be four. Then I'll evaluate again what her journey will be.

On the one hand, I'm super proud of this sweet girl as she's such a relaxed and friendly horse and I can't wait to see her develop into a fantastic riding horse.

On the other hand, my ratio says not to push her and give her all the time she needs do develop physically and mentally.

So I make a compromise: two months to build a solid foundation, and then I'll sit on my hands and take one or even two steps back.

It will be worth the wait. I keep telling myself 🙃.

🎉 Happy birthday to my first bred dressage foal and dearest buddy: Ubuntu de Quarebbe. He became 5 years old today 🎂😘.

He has grown into this powerful horse that loves to play and is always looking for the connection with his new human ❤️.

🌧🌬🌤🌬🌞 "Never forget that behind the clouds the sun is still shining."

It are cold, windy and rainy days in Belgium, but while I visited Wasumi today, the sun came to say 'hi' for a brief moment 🙋🙏.

My little helper 🥰.

On weekend mornings, we've got our little routine together: feeding hay, kissing the horses, scooping manure, picking an apple from the tree, riding in the wheelbarrow, filling up the water buckets.

Her name is Ada, she's 2 years old and she's a force of nature 💚!

Cuteness overload 🥰😍🤩!!

Sjaman de Quarebbe (2022, For Romance x Rhodium) was the cutest foal EVER! Look at his cute little face 🫠.

He was so soft and respectful by nature, having the best character you could wish for. Such a sweet boy! A true pleasure to have around ❤️. I think he's gonna be everybody's friend when he's grown up, getting kisses from all the girls 😀.

Soon, sweet Anoukie will be 20 years old 🫣.

Shall I try one more time to breed a foal with her? A homebred filly would be nice 😇. Last year, I said I would retire her from breeding ... But now I'm in doubt again. Looking for stallions without actually breeding might also be fun 🤔🙃.

Actually, she wasn't really into ball plays as a youngster. Maybe it's more a game for young stallions, who like to nibble on things more than fillies do (?).
