Last week, we kicked off 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐧 - 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 at Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse in Paris.
So, what’s in store?
Not only the classic Rosas danst Rosas performed by the fifth generation of dancers but also a full “Chaillot Expérience Iconiques” on 19 & 20 September.
At the heart of the weekend is 𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 bringing together twenty dancers from five generations of the piece, including all members of the original cast.

☆ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐛 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 * charts the history of De Keersmaeker’s iconic choreography from its premiere in 1983 until today today, through photographs, notes, drawings, films and archival documents
☆ 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 performed throughout the theatre by twenty students from the CNSMDP, twenty children and ten teenagers
☆ 𝐇𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐬 the ever-elusive duet set to Louis Andriessen’s score of the same name, performed by José Paulo dos Santos and Lav Crnčević
☆ 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 with Solal Mariotte
☆ 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 of Thierry De Mey’s 1997 film adaptation of Rosas danst Rosas
☆ 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐞:𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬! the participatory project in which people of all ages from around the world dance Rosas danst Rosas. Enjoy nearly 700 videos!
