JMB Classic

A highly competitive weekend at Le Mans Classic.

After securing pole position, François led all three races in his class. Unfortunately, contact with an LMP1 prevented him from taking a well-deserved victory in this edition. Despite this incident, which sent him into the gravel during Race 1, his underlying pace and focus remained unaffected throughout.
Securing P2 overall in the LMP2 class is a rewarding result for Francois and the JMB Classic team.

Watching Emmanuel Collard push the McLaren F1 GTR to its absolute limits at Le Mans Classic Legend was an unforgettable sight.

We couldn’t be prouder of the JMB Classic crew. Keeping a machine of this caliber running at such a blistering pace across three gruelling sessions requires immense dedication and skill.

Their tireless work in the garage paid off brilliantly, rewarding us with P1 in the GT1A class and a stunning P2 overall in Plateau 8!

On top of the cars we are racing at Le Mans Classic, we brought epic machines for exhibition: the César McLaren F1 GTR is part of the Gordon Murray exposition and parade.

The 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Evo is also here, for display in the paddock, as Porsche Motorsport is celebrating their 75th anniversary, and the first 911 GT1 is 30 years old.

Next week, history returns to the Circuit de la Sarthe for the inaugural Le Mans Classic Legend! This brand-new annual format is dedicated exclusively to modern endurance racing (post-1990 machinery).

JMB Classic is proud to manage a legendary 3-car lineup, spanning from the golden GT1 era to iconic Le Mans Prototypes. Our grid for the event:

▫️Plateau 8 (Proto & GT 1994-1999): 25-time Le Mans veteran Emmanuel Collard will be behind the wheel of the mythical 1995 McLaren F1 GTR.

▫️Plateau 9 (Proto 2000-2005 / GT 2000-2010): Automobile Club de l'Ouest CEO Pierre Fillon will drive the legendary Audi R8 LMP.

▫️Plateau 10 (Legends of Le Mans): Current FIA WEC driver François Heriau will pilot his sharp OAK Pescarolo 01 LMP2.
