EUROPEA Academy project has started with its kick-off meeting!

On 29 September, the kick-off meeting of the EUROPEA Academy KA2 project marked an important step towards successful collaboration. We reviewed the project work plan, clarified tasks and partner responsibilities, and aligned our expectations for the implementation phase.

Special attention was given to establishing an effective cooperation framework, including monthly online meetings, as well as planning the first collaborative mobility activity in Benešov, Czech Republic.

We are excited to begin this journey together and look forward to the upcoming project activities and achievements.

The project partners are: Naturbruksförvaltningen, Västra Götalandsregionen 🇸🇪, EUROPEA Denmark 🇩🇰, Vyšší odborná škola a Střední zemědělská škola Benešov 🇨🇿, EUROPEA Estonia 🇪🇪, and EUROPEA Europe de l'Enseignement Agronomique 🇪🇺.

Hungarian VET students at the WorldSkills SHANGHAI 2026 – A WEEK THAT HAD THE VET WORLD BUZZING! -
After years of hard work, training and preparation, our Hungarian competitors took on the world’s best in their respective skills.
With the support of their schools and the Agricultural Vocational Centre of the Central Hungarian Region, they represented Hungary on the world stage in the following professions: Baking (Mátyás), Floristry (Dávid) and Landscape Gardening (Ádám and Balázs). They all did very well in their competitions and we are incredibly proud that our schools could play a part in this journey, providing the expertise, training and support behind the preparation, with the wholehearted backing of our school communities. Teagasc Horticulture Apprentices participating in World Skills 2026 event - Teagasc Horticulture apprentices are pictured demonstrating their skills at the Garden and Landscaping exhibit at World Skills 2026 at the RDS in Dublin, Ireland last week. A fantastic showcase for all apprentices and their disciplines. From 🇫🇷 to 🇨🇭

👉 Cherif from Wintzenheim school in 🇫🇷 completed an internship in Switzerland 🇨🇭, near Sion, as part of his BTS program in landscape management and gardening

🤩 In addition to enjoying the area’s magnificent Landscape 🏞️🌄 he worked on the landscaping of a middle school under construction for the company Arbora Paysage. The project included the creation of an atrium, landscaped swales, and numerous plantings with watering system to enhance the site. 🧱🏗️🪴🌳🌲 💦

🙏 Cherif was realy happy at the end of his internship because working in Switzerland was a dream for him.

🇫🇷 Learning to sail, learning together!

👉 Once again, international cooperation has given several students from the Lycée de la Mer in Sète the opportunity to step on board and experience life at sea alongside a crew made up of young people from different European countries 🇪🇺

🚢 During this sailing and seamanship training, our students discovered much more than the secrets of sails, ropes and navigation. 🌊🐟 🦀 🎣

🤝 They learned to work as a team, share responsibilities, adapt to life on board and, of course, listen to the wind and the sea.. From early morning starts to spectacular sunsets, every day brought new challenges, new skills and unforgettable moments

3️⃣ students from Lycée du Bois d’Envermeu 🇫🇷 woodworking Vocational School in Madagascar 🇲🇬

👉 For over 2️⃣0️⃣ years, Lycée du bois d’Envermeu vocational school located in Normandy has maintained a partnership with a woodworking training center in Tamatave, in northern Madagascar 🪵

💰 Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, we funded a three-week internship in February for 3️⃣ students (two forestry students and one sawmill student),accompanied by the manager of our school's sawmill.

😱 They arrived the day after a severe hurricane that had caused massive damage. Consequently, their internship program had to be modified. However, as planned, they took part in planting trees activities and the construction of a tree nursery…

🌎 The students were deeply impressed by the experience. It also inspired a desire to travel : two of them have gone on to pursue further studies in Québec
