looking at my feed it is fairly obvious that backbends definitely are my favourite asana group. 🫢
don’t know where i would be without them 🤓

Ik kijk hier zo naar uit! ❁
Vanaf juli elke week

moments I will remember for a long time to come 🍵🌅.
just sharing the simple things - the perks of having one of your best friends as a roomie.

which self care habit do you want to kick ass at this month?
for me with the start of the new month comes a refocus: practice yoga (in all its forms)purely for myself more again.
with starting a new job, my focus shifted and my personal habits made way a little.
my personal practice is so important for my feeling balanced and in-tune so gotta prioritise it ⭒ ⭒ ⭒

i don’t normally hold urdhva dhanurasana longer then 5 breaths.
this morning i did.
after feeling a huge resistance to get into this asana in the first place - i knew i had to go there and stay.
apparently i have been holding a lot of tension in my chest area.
with this hold came a huge emotional release. so instead of flowing through the rest of practice, i laid on my mat and cried.
giving myself space to feel what i needed to feel.

How do you find your soft side when moments like this sunset are not part of the day to day?
Releasing, letting go, trusting that everything happens as it should. Surrendering to the flow of life.
When watching the sun set over the ocean - I soften, without an effort. I trust and surrender.
Coming back to the day to day hustle and bustle - it takes more of a dedicated practice to stay within the flow, to feel the same trust and surrender to the process of life.
To stay mindful and not react from emotion. But instead act from a rooted belief.
