Erin Jackson becomes first black woman to qualify for U.S. Olympic team in long-track speedskating Erin Jackson has only been long-track speedskating for four months, but earned a spot on the U.S. Olympic team with a third-place finish at the trials in Milwaukee.

She'll be skating in the 500m race this time, and they'll actually run TWO ROUNDS of this race--that means you get to watch her TWICE! The order will be:
• First round MEN
• First round WOMEN
• Second round MEN
• Second round WOMEN

The 500m race is just a little over a lap--it'll happen really quick, so tune in at the beginning of the women's races to make sure you catch her.

⏰ The first round of women's races start around 23:50 (GMT+1). She'll be pair 5.

⏰ The second round of women's races start at 1:30 ET (GMT+1). She won't know her pair until after the first round, so be sure to tune it at the very beginning.

The men's races will start approx 1 hour before the women's (but be warned: they're running a quick recap of all the first round races during the beginning of the men's second round).

I'm super excited to race in the 500m events at the Olympic Trials tonight! There will be two rounds of racing: 500m #1 will be available via the NBC Sports app or online stream (see links below; you'll need to log in with a cable provider); 500m #2 will be aired on the NBCSN channel in addition to the stream.

Racing will begin at 4:50 ET with the men's 500m #1. The women start around 5:50 ET and I will be in pair 5 with ISU Transition Program teammate Brianna Bocox. Live TV coverage begins at 6:35 ET with a recap of the first round of 500m, followed by the men's 500m #2. The women will start around 7:30 ET. The pairings for the second 500m are based on the first round, so I don't have that info yet.
