decided using preliminary time trial performances, to be conducted on TruTrainer rollers. In such races, four racers will compete simultaneously. A substantial prize list is currently being offered
to generate enthusiasm. Phase 2 establishes an invitational racing series. As in phase 1, winners will be
decided using a bracket-elimination style competition; however, racing will be performed by invited racers
only. These events are currently scheduled to take place in restaurants and bars in Southwest Virginia. In
such races, two racers will compete simultaneously. Demonstrations and promotions of TruTrainer roller
systems will be conducted for the public at these events. Phase 3 establishes a Gold Sprinting type racing venue, in which racers will sprint against each other for
20 seconds to 1 minute intervals. These events will be open to the public. Races will be conducted on
fork mounted TruTrainer rollers, and will require standardized fixed gear bicycles (which TruGold will
provide). Phases 1 and 2 will evolve concurrently in the first year of operation, while phase 3 will begin
in the second year of operation.
