Nutrition, the foundation of your fitness.
It should be the first thing you change if you want to get healthier and fitter.
This is a picture of Jonathan, one of my clients, after receiving my nutrition tips. Meal prepping saves you a lot of time, keeps your body nurtured and most of all, it rids you of excuses.
We all heard the "I don't know what to eat, let's order something" excuse. Once in a while, this is OK, we're all human. But if you can maintain a healthy eating pattern for 80%, you'll get 80% of the results.

The Overhead Squat

You are only as strong as what you are built upon.
The Overhead squat. It tests balance, strength, stability and a lot more aspects of fitness. Being able to squat your bodyweight is one thing, if you can do it in the overhead squat, 15 times, you should have the midline strength to do about anything.

Front squats, finding a good spot on the shoulder and getting comfortable in that position. One of the foundations that need to be mastered. If you thought situps were taxing on the midline, try a bodyweight front squat.
And oh yeah, your legs look awesome from it too ;)

Mastering the Air squat eludes a lot of people but has so much benefits for overall health. Hip and knee health, leg strength and total body adaptation are only a few of the benefits of this exercise when performed correctly.

Everyday can be an AMRAP
An amrap is a term used in CrossFit for "as many reps (or rounds) as possible" in any given time. For example AMRAP 7 minutes.
Although this usually gets used in a format followed by any given exercises, this small term can also be used in your everyday life.
That's why it's important to apply this principle to your life as well. Do your best, no matter what you do. Don't get me wrong, more isn't always better. But your best is usually all you can give, and I'll take it, everyday.
That's why I suggest to AMRAP Life.

World class Fitness in 100 words.
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and sn**ch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
