Dear supporters,
It is with immense pride and fulfillment that I look back on yet another successful edition of the 8th Inclusive I-Karate Global World Championship in Budapest on October 3rd!
Not only was it our biggest edition ever, but the fantastic team and all the participants have left an indelible impression on me. The battles on the mats to claim a medal were incredibly exciting. But what touches me perhaps the most is the heartwarming atmosphere. The positivity and connection between parents, participants, coaches, referees, volunteers, and organizers is truly beyond words! ❤️
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this edition such a fantastic success! A special thank you goes out to the IKF Team Hungary, and its fantastic pillars of support, Attila and Adrian.
Get ready for the next edition! The next World Championship will take place in the cradle where it all began: Belgium! Mark your calendars for October 30th, 2027, in Hasselt-Zonhoven — another wonderful goal for everyone to work toward!
Thank you also to all the sponsors; without you, this would not have been possible!
Finally, we want to emphasize that our organization is a neutral space where we welcome everyone with good intentions. Through these collaborations, members of every partner organization can participate in our competitions, always with inclusion at its beating heart.
Oss,
Eric Bortels
President IKF
