The debut season of the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux has brought some unforgettable moments already, from the Belgian rounds at the Rally de Wallonie and Ypres Rally to the Dutch round at the GTC Rally.

Rounds 7 & 8 of the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux postponed following cancellation of the Saarland-Pfalz Rally

➡️ The Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux has been informed that the ADAC Saarland-Pfalz Rally, scheduled for 14 and 15 August, has been cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions currently affecting the region. As a result, Rounds 7 and 8 of the championship will not take place as planned.

Following extensive discussions between the organisers, local authorities and the ADAC, the difficult decision was taken to cancel the event. The prolonged period of hot, dry weather has significantly increased the risk of wildfires, making it impossible to guarantee the safety of competitors, officials, spectators and emergency services.

As we move beyond the halfway point of the inaugural Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux season, the championship battle is well underway 📊

The title race is far from over, however, with the Saarland-Pfalz Rallye and the East Belgian Rally still to come. That means there are plenty of points left to fight for!

Victories for Pirot and Wartique in the GTC Rally

➡️ Two weeks after the Ypres Rally, the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux crossed the border for the first time this season, heading specifically for the Netherlands, with Achtmaal serving as the base for the GTC Rally. There, Loïc Pirot and John Wartique claimed victory in successive races…

For the three teams that lined up at the start in a 911 GT3 Cup with Rally GT kit, Friday and Saturday were a real journey of discovery. The GTC Rally offered a particularly challenging route, featuring a mix of tarmac roads, gravel sections and the typical Dutch cobbled streets. The race centre, too, had all the hallmarks of a music festival, with a stage, large screens, food trucks and outdoor seating areas. Everything was in place to make for an exciting weekend…

Wartique & Andernack claim the Round 6 victory at the GTC Rally! 🏆

The Belgian duo delivered a strong performance to secure victory in the final Round of the weekend and seal the Overall win at the GTC Rally. With an impressive comeback, Delhez & Marchand fought their way back to finish in P2, while yesterday’s Round winners Pirot & Bodet completed the podium in P3.

An action-packed weekend once again showcased the depth of competition in the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux, with battles for every position across both days.

A huge thank you to the teams, drivers, officials, partners, and fans who made another fantastic PRTB weekend possible. Next up: the Saarland-Pfalz Rally on August 14 & 15, where the championship continues with the next Round.

Pirot & Bodet claim their first overall victory 🏆

After coming close on several occasions, Loïc Pirot & Jean-Baptiste Bodet take their first overall win in the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux during Round 5 at the GTC Rally.

John Wartique & Maxime Andernack finish in P2, while championship leaders Romain Delhez & Jérome Marchand had to retire from Leg 1.

In the Power Stage, Wartique & Andernack come out on top, with Pirot & Bodet taking P2.

The action continues later today, with Leg 2 getting underway at 10:30, marking Round 6 of the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux season. See you there! 👋
