Meet the guest faculty of our August Intensive 2026.

This summer, Mosa is welcoming five guest teachers who will lead our core class programme across two weeks of intensive training.

Wim Broeckx and Karen Donovan will teach Ballet and Repertoire, while Stéphane Dalle will lead Ballet and Floor Barre. Their classes will focus on technique, precision and artistic depth.

On the contemporary side, Claudia Phlips and Thusnelda Mercy will bring their distinct approaches to movement and expression. Thusnelda Mercy will additionally lead a Choreographic Workshop, giving students the opportunity to explore their own creative voice under expert guidance.

Two weeks. A full programme built to challenge and inspire at every level.

Quand On Danse on stage at the Francofolies de Spa.

This performance was the culmination of several months of work and rehearsals for two of our students alongside dancers from the “CHC Le Tabuchet” day centre, who came together as part of our inclusive dance programme, Quand On Danse.

Led by José Melgar, this wonderful project also gave us the opportunity to work alongside the members of RTBF’s Les Remarquables collective and BJ Scott.

What an incredible experience - what an audience and what a show!

Les Remarquables will air on RTBF starting in September.

Mosa Ballet School at the world's largest dance festival.

Last week, we have proudly taken part in the Joinville Dance Festival in Brazil, an internationally renowned event that brings together some of the world's greatest dance talent.

Officially invited to teach masterclasses and serve on the jury. Our presence reflects the strong partnership built with the festival and our shared commitment to fostering the development of dance on an international scale.

Building bridges between Belgium and Brazil, discovering tomorrow's talents, and offering them unique opportunities to grow on the international stage — this is the vision behind this collaboration.

And this story already has a face: Valentina. After winning an award at the Joinville Dance Festival last year, she is now continuing her training in Europe at Mosa Ballet School. A wonderful example of the life-changing opportunities that international exchanges can create.

Thank you Jason Sabrou and Claudia Zachari for your infectious energy. Thank you Victor Aronis, Ely Diniz, Iris M.Lucio and Esthêfania Moraes for their incredible welcome.

Training artists. Connecting talent. Building the future.

After hours in the studios, our students come home.

For most of them, Mosa is more than a school. It’s where lifelong friendships begin, where small routines become comforting rituals, and where tomorrow’s professional dancers find the balance to start again each morning.

That’s why every detail of the boarding house was carefully designed, from the materials and the layout to the natural light, to create a place that truly feels like home.

There is something about classical ballet that words rarely capture.

The precision. The silence before the music starts. The way a body in motion can say everything a voice cannot.

This is why we do what we do — every single day.

We have 12 studios — including one built on a raked floor.

Training on a raked floor teaches dancers to adapt, find balance in a different way, and prepare for the realities of performing on stages around the world. While raked stages are common in many historic theatres, dedicated training on one is rare — and we believe it's an invaluable part of a professional dancer's education.

This year's July Intensive brought something special to our studios.

We welcomed an exceptional number of boys — and watching them thrive in our pas de deux classes has been one of the highlights of the week. Partnering, lifting, connecting — skills that are developed throughout our July Intensive, and that make the experience truly unique.

Now, as the intensive has ended, every participant has made remarkable progress — technically, physically, and mentally. An intensive is about more than technique. It's also about developing confidence, resilience, and trust in your body and in yourself.

Our August Intensive still has a few spots available, register now → https://tinyurl.com/mryaj6h2

We believe that talent comes from every background, every culture, and every story.

At Mosa, we look for dedication, curiosity, and the desire to grow. That's what we value. That's what we nurture. Dance should be open to everyone with potential, not exclusive.

That's the school we're building, every day.
