What a fantastic day for Belgian contesting and HAM radio spirit!
On Saturday 18 April 2026, the **Belgium Contest Club (CCB) Yearly Meeting – Spring 2026** was proudly hosted at the **LIR Clubstation ON7LR **. A great team of passionate radio amateurs came together to share ideas, experiences, friendship, and of course their love for contesting.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success — and to all attendees for the amazing atmosphere!

📻 OT5A is Ready to Rumble! 🎙️
The antennas are tuned, the coffee is brewing, and the amplifiers are warming up! After an incredible weekend fighting for every single QSO during the YOTA contest, the team at the OT5A superstation is shifting gears for a big one.
We are officially in full prep mode for the CQ WPX SSB Contest this coming weekend! 🏆 Beverages being deployed as we speak.
The Goal: Top 10 Worldwide? 🌍
We aren't just here to participate; we’re chasing a spot in the Global Top 10. It’s going to be a weekend of high-speed operating, strategic multiplier hunting, and—of course—plenty of the famous OT5A hospitality.
What’s on the Menu? 🍔
Contesting is hard work, so we’re balancing the "radio grind" with:
- Serious DXing: Piling up those prefixes.
- Serious Eating: Transitioning from radio rations to a full-on food fest once your epic QSO are in the the log.
- Serious Fun: Nothing beats the adrenaline of a WPX pileup with the crew.
