Not the post we want to be posting but before the cancellation of Canada heights, Sam and Thomas had planned to race this weekends Dutch GP, with the British being cancelled early, Sam had a pre op on his knee, and his surgery will now be in the next 3/4 weeks.

This means work and other priorities come first so unfortunately no Dutch GP and early end to the season for the team.

Luckily Thomas will still ride the Dutch GP with team Kinge so it feels like Sam hasn’t let Tom down to much. Best of luck Tom! The past 3 seasons have been a blast 🤝. Thank you!

Mac2racing will be back … potentially late in to 2027 knee recovery depending!

British championship round 6 Wakes Colne! Overall a great day for the team!

Race 1 some great battles and a fast pace all the way to the flag.

Race 2 after a bad start, the lads pulled through the field fast, unfortunately the race was red flagged and cut short.

A nice spin out at a dusty west meon at the weekend. Track was technical! Great bit of bike time before this weekends British championship at Wakes Colne.

British championship round 5 and back to a very hot Culham mx where the lads crashed out at round 1. Unfortunately race 1 was red flagged while they were in an exciting 5 way battle.

Race 2 Sam lost the rear brake on lap 3 so he couldn’t run the pace to be in the battle up front. A steady ride to the flag with lots of downshifting!

Team announcement!

After 3 great seasons together Sam and Thomas will part ways at the end of the 2026 season. This is a mutual agreement that has been discussed early so Thomas can move forward in his career and find a more permanent GP ride.

Unfortunately Sam tore his lateral meniscus and ACL in his left knee at the French Gp last September.

Although he’s had rehab and physio over the off season and in to 2026. The knee requires surgery and is ultimately holding back training, riding and general life.
Therefore Sam will sit out the 2027 season to have surgery and recover.

We wish Thomas the best of luck with his next venture and thank him, it’s been a pleasure bringing him on and as a team we’ve had some great results together.

British championship round 4 Dean Moore

A solid day on a tough slippy track. Bike problems in race 1 were out of our hands and we were lucky to finish.

Race 2 with the bike sorted the lads had a great start and almost ripped the holeshot 💪🏻

Belgium GP lommel 🇧🇪

After a good qualifying day on the Saturday, Sunday was far from smooth!

Race 1 came to a quick end as the lads ended up off the track and into a water feature! DNF.

Race 2 was much better, starting outside the top 20 Sam and Tom had a good pace and worked there way up to p17 unfortunately with 1 lap to go they suffered a puncture, and a tangle with a lapped rider causing them to get stuck and finish p23.

A hard pill to swallow when the lads had been running in the points for the whole race just to loose it on the last lap! We take the positives. A quick turn around now for rd 4 of the British championship this weekend 🏁

British championship rd 3 - Monster mountain.

Great to be back! Only the second time on the bike in 11 weeks for the lads, so this weekend was all about building bike fitness back up, and getting comfy again after the big crash at RD1.

Overall a great day of racing on a new track. It Will take a few weeks to get back to where we were pre crash but looking forward to the challenge! Next stop, Belgium GP lommel 🏖️

🇬🇧What a weekend 🇬🇧The British GP is always something special. It was almost impossible to ride here this year but the lads were determined.

With 7 weeks off the bike due to injuries, Sam and Thomas tried to ride the weekend previously but Thomas was still in alot of pain with his broken foot.

With Thomas on pain killers and a strapped foot they gave it there all. The hardest part was definitely the lack of bike time/fitness and still attempting a GP.

Saturdays qualifying race was a p9 which meant 18th gate pick for Sunday’s GP

Gp race 1 - DNS - (unfortunately a few seconds late to starting area)

Gp race 2 -18th

The team is chuffed to grab 3 world championship points under the circumstances! and know they could have pushed for a lot more if both fully fit.
