Part of today's training was the move from 1st to 2nd target. Luckily I also had metal snapcaps. The PLA 3d printed ones failed too often. Not worth printing.

I will try PETG, BUT i think that printing them standing will always create a weakness that will promote the separation of the ring.

Have you managed to print good snapcaps?

My friend Christophe has made a smart mod of a 3D printable ammo box to easily lock it.

We have to transport ammo locked and separate from the guns in Belgium, and this takes a lot less space.

Today I was running low in ammo and a friend handed me a box of CCI Ammunition. I like the ammo, but not the sheets it comes in. To work with them with more comfort I just drop the sheet on a tray from another brand that stands thanks to its shape (SK Ammunition in this case). There are tray adapters you can 3D print for your box, but I already carry too much stuff!

I'm trying to make a cartridge carrier for two 22lr trays, inspired by the one my friend Charles made years ago and whose file is lost forever. Gotta improve the latches and the raisers. Maybe instead of the latches I should just add a lock of some kind. What do you think?

Pardini FPM mystery!

Does anyone know what part F026 actually does?

The Pardini manual calls it:

F026 – Cursore fermo otturatore
English: “Sliding rule stop bolt”

Unfortunately, that English translation does not explain much.

If you know its function, please tell me in the comments. Even better if you can explain when and why it is used.

Today was a Pardini SP testing day at the club! Beyond the High-tech, I wonder how many models are missing Pardini Armi Pardini USA
