Yanakiev Ski & Snowboard School - Borovets is at Via Marmolada Residences enjoying Marmolada, Arraba and Altia Badia. 120km risen from first lift to last lift the playground is the Dolomites. 🏔️ **A New Chapter Begins – 2026/7 Borovets and Dolomites** 🇧🇬🇮🇹

As we approach the busiest time of the season, we’d like to clear up a few rumours with an official post.

There have been messages circulating suggesting that **Yanakiev Ski & Snowboard School is closing** — this is **not true at all**. We are **still very much in Borovets**, in the same location, with the same team and the same ethos you know and trust.

Some of you may have seen equipment for sale. Yes — we sold our older gear and have **upgraded to brand-new skis, boots, and poles**, including **BOA system boots**, to make sure our customers enjoy the very best equipment this season.

You may also have noticed links from my personal page to **Via Marmolada Residences**. This *is* happening — and it marks an exciting new chapter for us.

After 20 incredible years in Borovets, running Snow & Wake Bulgaria and Yanakiev Ski & Snowboard School, blending the very best of British and Bulgarian snowsports, we’re proud to announce our next adventure…

✨ We’re opening in the Italian Dolomites next season!** ✨

We are opening a brand-new, fully refurbished mountain complex at the foot of the Queen of the Dolomites – Marmolada*.

• 14 rentable apartments (various sizes)
• 7 hotel rooms
• 2 restaurants
• Après-ski bar ( Maybe OTP 2 ! )& foyer bar
• Wellness centre
• 2 ski depots

🎿 Лифт карти за деца на възраст 7-13 години - на специална цена от само 0.50 €, за да могат всички да се забавляват на пистата.
⛷️ Безплатни ски и сноуборд уроци за начинаещи – за всички деца (7-13 год.), които искат да направят първите си стъпки в зимните спортове.
🧸 Специално за най-малките гости - в парк Борокидс ще се провеждат безплатни уроци за деца на възраст 4–7 години.
✔️ Влизането в парка и урокът са напълно безплатни.

✔️На учебния плац на Бороспорт ще има слаломно трасе, наредено от ски легендата Петър Попангелов. Спусканията няма да са със състезателен характер.

✔️А всеки, който направи своето спускане от 11:00 до 12:00 ч., ще получи диплома лично от Пепи Попангелов.

❄️ World Snow Day – Saturday, 17 January ❄️
Celebrate with us for the 15th consecutive year the World Snow Day and immerse yourself in the winter magic of Borovets! ⛄✨ This special day is all about the kids, with plenty of snowy fun to enjoy:
🎿 Lift tickets for ages 7–13 – only €0.50, the perfect way to hit the slopes.
⛷️ Free ski and snowboard lessons for children (ages 7-13) – for everyone ready to take their first steps on the snow.
🧸 And for our youngest guests -
аt Borokids Park, we will offer free lessons for children aged 4–7.
✔️ Park entry and the lesson are completely free.

✔️On the Borosport training slope, there will be a slalom course set by ski legend Petar Popangelov. The runs will not be competitive.

✔️And everyone who completes their run between 11:00 and 12:00 will receive a certificate personally from Pepi Popangelov.
