EU Fest Byala

🎉🏖️ Exactly one year ago, an unforgettable journey began!
On 16 June 2025, we officially opened the first edition of EUFestByala – European Beach Sports Festival in Byala. 🌊🏐☀️

Seven days filled with sport, new friendships, shared emotions, international encounters, smiles, and plenty of inspiration. Together, we proved that sport knows no boundaries and has the power to unite people from different countries, ages, and cultures.

Today, one year later, we look back with a smile on the first matches, the first beach training sessions, the enthusiasm of our partner organisations and volunteers, the professionalism of the referees, medical teams, host and DJ, the media team, our incredible sport ambassadors, and our inspiring lecturers – all of us contributed to creating an amazing atmosphere that we continue to carry in our hearts. ❤️

But the best part is that EUFestByala has become much more than just a memory. We continue to work actively to turn the Festival into a sustainable international tradition, bringing together people who love sport, active lifestyles, and positive energy year after year. 🌍🤝
We have many more ideas, new partnerships, and exciting plans for the future.

🎉🏖️ Преди точно една година започна едно незабравимо приключение!
На 16 юни 2025 г. официално открихме първото издание на EUFestByala – Европейски фестивал на плажните спортове в Бяла. 🌊🏐☀️

Седем дни, изпълнени със спорт, нови приятелства, споделени емоции, международни срещи, усмивки и много вдъхновение. Заедно доказахме, че спортът няма граници и може да обединява хора от различни държави, възрасти и култури.

Днес, една година по-късно, с усмивка си спомняме първите мачове, първите тренировки на плажа, ентусиазма на партньорските организации, доброволците, професионализма на съдии, медицински екипи, водещ и диджей, медия екипа, невероятните ни посланици на спорта и нашите лектори – всички ние създадохме една невероятната атмосфера, която носим в сърцата си. ❤️

Но най-хубавото е, че EUFestByala не остана просто спомен. Продължаваме да работим активно, за да превърнем фестивала в устойчива международна традиция, която всяка година да събира любители на спорта, активния начин на живот и доброто настроение. 🌍🤝

A Heartfelt Thank You From the Fest Team!

EUFest Byala Project ends in few days. But … this is not just an ending… it’s the beginning of something beautiful.

As we look back at these moments — the smiles, the games, the shared laughter, the early-morning setups, the traditional games and the late-evening along the sea — our hearts are full.

Because you made the Fest what it was.

Every picture we share today tells a story:
🏐 Communitiy involved in beach sports
🤝 Volunteers helping in every aspect of the Fest
🌍 Friends from different countries teaching their traditional games
💙 All of us cheering, clapping, supporting
🌊 The beach turning into a place of energy, joy, and connection

People who came as strangers and left as part of a community
We wanted to organise a festival.
But together, we created a feeling. A memory. A little piece of magic in Byala.

To our partners and teams who travelled from afar,
To the top-level team of referees,
To the great medical staff,
To the stunning media team,
To our incredible host,
To our incredible DJ,
To our devoted ambassadors,
To our excellent lecturers,
To our volunteers who gave their whole hearts,
To the tireless staff of the Municipality of Byala,
To our local community that embraced the idea from day one
you all turned a small coastal town into a place of big dreams and even bigger emotions!

Yesterday we held our final EUFestByala meeting — a moment to reflect, but also to look ahead.

We focused on the impact we achieved, the Fest Know-How Manual we developed, and how this knowledge will be transferred into future EUFest editions across Europe.

The Know-How Manual will serve as a strong foundation for all partners, supporting the next steps in our joint activities and helping new communities bring the Fest spirit to life.

We also discussed the final project reporting and the growing network of partners now joining the Beach Sports EU Fest initiative — a network we aim to continue expanding across Europe.

The EUFestByala project may be coming to an end, but the future Beach Sports Fests are just getting started.

EUFEST BYALA 2025 — WHEN BEACH SPORTS BROUGHT A SMALL BLACK SEA TOWN TO THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE!

Our beautiful town of Byala proved that big impact can happen in small places.

This year’s EUFest Byala transformed our seaside community into an international hotspot for sport, culture, and togetherness — and the results are incredible:

🏃‍♀️ 90%+ learned more about healthy living
💪 Almost everyone feels more motivated to be active
🤝 New friendships and partnerships everywhere
🌍 Traditional games created true cultural exchange
📘 A Fest Know-How Manual is now ready to help our network replicate the event

But the biggest win?
✨ Our community grew — and keeps growing.

Byala showed it can host modern, exciting, international sports events — and people are already asking for the Fest to become a yearly tradition.
