С новият президент на Международната федерация по Чирлидинг Карл Олсън! Продължаваме напред, приятелю! 🇺🇸🇧🇬

The International Cheer Union today announced the election of Karl Olson as its new President, following the passing of Founder and President Jeff Webb last month. Olson, who has served as Secretary General of the ICU since its inception, brings deep experience and continuity to the role during this pivotal moment for the organization. “I am honored to carry forward Jeff’s legacy and continue advancing the global growth and recognition of cheerleading,” said Olson, noting this was always President Webb’s vision and that mission must continue. The ICU Board expressed confidence in Olson’s leadership and reaffirmed its commitment to the vision and values established under Webb’s tenure.

Founded in 2004, the International Cheer Union has grown into the recognized world governing body for cheerleading, now representing 126 member National Federations across all continents. The organization has played a central role in the sport’s international development, including its continued expansion, standardization, and recognition within the global sports community. In 2021, the ICU was granted full recognition by the International Olympic Committee.
