A workplace can feel rooted in its surroundings without imitating them.

In these visualisations for a Birmingham office space, the deep red ceiling becomes the defining thread, drawing the eye through the reception, shared areas and out towards the glazed façade. Viewed from outside, the interior reads as part of the wider architectural setting rather than a separate layer behind the glass.

Our aim was to show that relationship clearly while preserving the warmth, material depth and premium character of the scheme. Sustainability may have guided the refurbishment, but the final impression is anything but restrained.

The tea point is often one of the most characterful areas of a workplace. After desks and meeting rooms, it is usually the space where people naturally gather, take a short break, or catch up after the weekend.

Because of that, it gives designers more room to introduce colour, texture, greenery, lighting, and a slightly more relaxed atmosphere without disrupting the main working areas.

CGI is especially useful here because these spaces depend heavily on mood and material balance. A tea point needs to look welcoming and well-considered, while still feeling practical for everyday office use.

In this workplace interior project, the mix of pale timber, deep green accents, planting, soft upholstery and linear lighting gives the space a clear identity without making it feel heavy. The meeting rooms and shared spaces follow the same visual language, which helps the full office interior feel connected.

For the CGI, we payed close attention to textures, reflected light and the relationship between open and more private zones. Those details are what gives an interior design presentation credibility, making it practical and easy to read.

People working in offices spend a huge portion of their lives sitting at a desk. For employers invested in their staff’s wellbeing, it is important to have a clear understanding of the physical conditions: lighting, flow, atmosphere, and spatial comfort.

You wouldn’t want to approve a desk layout and later realise the room feels crowded, the colour palettes clash, or the chosen materials look completely different under the selected lighting, especially once the interior project is already being completed.

While outdoor areas within a workplace may play a different role from desks or meeting rooms, they are still directly tied to employees’ wellbeing and productivity. An office terrace invites a quick chat in the crisp air and sunshine, giving people a fresh reset in minutes.

Companies invested in their staff’s health and wellbeing understand this and often go above and beyond to provide beautiful outdoor spaces, equipped with comfortable seating, greenery, and light.

On the other hand, from a landlord’s point of view, a strong view of the London, Birmingham, or another major city skyline can significantly increase interest in a property.

With expert visualisations, designers, architects, and real estate agents can confidently communicate an office exterior and impressive view to the client before the build process starts.

In this office interior, the shared areas are shaped by strong visual flow: curved lighting, planted edges, soft seating and open sightlines that guide people through the space.

As a CGI studio working with workplace interiors, our role was to communicate that flow. The focus was not only on layout, but on how the lighting, timber, greenery and staircase details would come together in a realistic architectural render for the client presentation.

When it comes to visualisations of conference and meeting rooms, the requirements are often quite straightforward. These spaces usually follow a familiar layout and a more neutral design, allowing them to stay focused, practical, and comfortable when occupied.

That said, some companies choose to take a bolder approach, and the results can be highly effective. The design still follows the brand’s image, the walls remain clean for the most part, but the room gains character and becomes brighter, more engaging, and more memorable.
