Effortless Golf Swing Guide

Goal
Generate power and consistency with low effort.

Key Concepts
- Stop hitting at the ball. Treat the ball as an object your swing passes through.
- Use body momentum, not raw muscle.
- Feel the club weight. Let gravity help the swing.
- Keep the mind simple. Reduce extra thoughts during the swing.

Drills

1. Heel Lift Momentum Drill
- At address, lift the right heel and set it down.
- Lift the left heel and set it down.
- Repeat with a steady rhythm while swinging.
- Focus on smooth weight shift and free arm swing.

2. Heel-Squat Drill
- On the backswing, place weight into the right heel.
- Pause in a small squat at transition.
- Push into the left heel and swing through.
- Feel a slingshot effect from the ground up.

3. Club Weight Awareness
- Hold a firm, relaxed grip.
- Keep wrists and arms free of tension.
- Let the club feel heavy in transition.
- Release the club naturally through impact.

Self-Check
- Rate effort 1-10. Aim for 4-6.
- Club feel should be heavy but controllable.
- If the swing feels strained, reduce force and focus on rhythm.

Practice Notes
- Use these drills at home without a ball.
- Increase reps before using a full swing.
- Track progress by noting effort and ball flight.

Stop Forcing Your Golf Swing – Do This Instead

Most golfers try way too hard to swing perfectly. They chase positions, force power, and end up with tension and inconsistency.

Here’s a better way:
Let the club do the work.

Imagine the club and your arms are super heavy—like you’re swinging four clubs at once. Just let that weight guide your motion. Don’t force it into some textbook backswing.

Try this:
- At address, feel your arms hanging heavy.
- Start your swing by clearing your body, then let the club and arms fall into place.
- Let the weight create momentum and natural rhythm.

The swing shouldn’t feel stiff or complicated. It should feel smooth, heavy, and relaxed.

Do this right, and you’ll feel effortless power.
Like hitting butter.
