ROTAX MAX Challenge International Trophy
Le Mans, France 🇫🇷
July 2026

In 2025 after an extremely disappointing week, we vowed we would never come back but a year later we stepped off the shuttle with optimism and a positive mindset. The week started off ok where we showed decent pace but struggled with kart set up. Qualifying P8 in group (this is where our positivity and optimism ends 🤦‍♂️) we moved on to the heats.

Heat 1 - P9 to P29
Smashed off first corner put us last, no penalties given to anyone involved 🤷‍♂️

Heat 2 - P9 to P18
After getting a great start and moving into 5th we were yet again smashed off the track at the first corner by a train of 4 karts. Yet again no penalties given to anyone involved 🤬
Ryan made a great comeback drive to drive from last up to 18th, matching the pace of the top 3.

Heat 3 - P10 to P26
Crossed the line P7 but hit with 13 seconds of penalties. Don’t think our luck could get much worse at this point.

Heat 4 - P9 to P7

Intermediate Classification 50th out of 83. We needed a perfect super heat if we were to make the final 37.

Superheat B - 25th to 31st
Would you believe…. Smashed off on the first corner yet again! No penalties given.

Overall a great week just shame about the karting 😂😂😂

To celebrate getting through Le Mans week we then spent a second week in France and went to Euro Disney for more magical and mystical make believe, where dreams really do come true 😂👍

Wera Tools British Kart Championships Round 3
Kimbolton Kart Club
10th - 12th July 2026

New kart weekend 🤗🎷👍

Showed good pace in free practice, circulating around top 10. Qulified P9 in group.

Heat 1 - 10th
Heat 2 - P2 (P6 after a ridiculous 5 second penalty for defending 3 corners throughout the race. Would have been better white lining the entire track for the whole race like some others and getting away with it 🤷‍♂️)
Superheat A - 7th (11th after penalty)
Final - P14 to P13

We dropped numerous positions in the final but penalties were handed out which gave us P13. It turns out our stub axle had become loose throughout the race subsequently meaning the kart was difficult to drive.

Again more lessons learnt. Thanks to Hunter Motorsport and Venator Racing Engines.

Not much to write home about this year in karting but feel we should still keep posting for the memories.

Ultimate Karting Championship Round 4 - Rowrah
4th - 5th July 2026

We were looking forward to this one as it’s a track Ryan has excelled at throughout the years but alas it was not to be this year. It was a struggle to get into top 20 in free practice all day Friday in group and this spilled over to the Saturday, 18th in group for qualifying.

Ryan knew there was something wrong with the kart as it wouldn’t release from the corners and was making a funny noise. It turns out the frame was cracked around a bearing hanger which was only noticed after qualifying! Huge thanks to Steve for spotting this and subsequently welding the frame back together.

Heat 1 - 24th
Heat 2 - 21st
Superheat A - 20th
Final - 21st
