St Chris Sharks Summer Swimming Championships 2026
This year’s Sharks Summer Championships looked a little different from previous years due to several circumstances. The most significant change was that participation was limited to St Chris members only. However, this had no impact on the outstanding performance of our Sharks. The atmosphere, the support from the audience, and the determination shown by our swimmers made the event a great success.
The Sharks achieved an impressive 261 personal best (PB) times across the championships. In addition, our swimmers broke 13 school records across various age groups and events:
Joshua B – New school record in the 50m Breaststroke
Jessica – New school records in the 50m and 200m Backstroke
Sebastian – New school records in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke
Hugo – New school record in the 50m Breaststroke
Raphael Ghorayeb – New school records in the 100m and 200m Backstroke
Nawar – New school records in the 50m and 100m Butterfly
Azeem – New school record in the 25m Freestyle
Faris – New school records in the 50m Butterfly and 25m Freestyle
The results truly speak for themselves. The St Chris Swim coaches are incredibly proud of every swimmer for their hard work, commitment, and achievements throughout the championships.

What an incredible day at the Inter Bahrain Academies Championship! 🤸‍♀️🏅

Our Sparta gymnasts were outstanding, bringing home an amazing 43 medals across the competition. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship.

Our Volleyball camp is designed to develop skills, teamwork, and passion for the game, this camp caters to both new players and those looking to advance their skills.
Dates: Sunday 28 June & Monday 29 June (2-day camp)
Cost: BD 15 for both days
Beginners: 12:30 – 14:00 (Year 5 to Year 8)
Intermediate: 14:00 – 15:30 (Year 7 to Year 13)

Our popular Multi-Sports Camp is back! Children will get the chance to enjoy a wide variety of different sports, swimming, plenty of fun group games and team challenges.
Eligible Ages: Reception to Year 6
Dates: Sunday 28 June – Wednesday 1 July 2026
Timing: 08:00 - 12:00
Cost: BD 50 for all 4 days, or BD 15 per day
