What a year !! What a final !! The boys had the challenge of becoming Back to Back champions . With most of last year senior players aging out , it would always be a challenge for the younger ones to come in and pick up where they left off .

They went unbeaten all season until they came up against a tough Whitney side in the six aside tournament who handed them their first and only lost . So meeting them in the final for the bssf championship was a scare and a motivation for the boys .

They started off scared and timid , which resulted in Whitney ending the first half 2-0 up . The boys came in halftime dejected but during the halftime speech we reminded them who we are ,what we stand for , the hardwork it took to get here ( and some tactical information that can change the game ) and challenged their mental .

They came out the second half a different team the team we have seen all year and it went from 2-0 to 3-2 within the blink of a eye Whitney fought back and got a equalizer and the boys went and made the comeback complete with a win in penalties.🏆🥇

What a year of Coaching it was !!!! The competitive part of my coach year is done , can’t wait to go again in September 🙌🏾 Here are a list of my accomplishments this year as a coach:
LBFA Travel Teams - U12 Iber Cup Semi Finalist (3rd) / U14 Quater Finalists Vasco - Under 9 kappa Quater Finalists/ Under 13B league champions🏆,Kappa classic and BFA semi finalists.
Somersfield - under 13 6 aside runners up 🥈under 13 KO champions 🏆. BHS under 9 - BFA runners up 🥈

IBER CUP🇪🇸🔥⚽️
A time was had by far one of the proudest moments in my life from so called underdogs , too semi finalist in the gold tier 🏆. The boys showed determination and fight in this IBER cup tournament which was an amazing sight to see as a coach , being that they didn’t believe they would go as far as they did. They saw that me and the coaches fully believed in them and refused to be pushed around in the tournament and represented Bermuda and proudly. If you see any of these players around make sure you tell them well done they truly deserve it .🙌🏾👏🏾❤️….. Also shout out to my parents best supporting system ever!!🙌🏾

What a journey…Definitely shed a tear after this one! I’m so proud of this group; I’ve been so hard on them ,pushing them to the next level,pushing them to prove they can be a A-Division team by winning the B Division and it wasn’t easy it took desire , passion , hardwork and Shondoball😅🙌🏾 .From where we started to where we finished, it has truly been an amazing journey they’ve came up short in many tournaments: semi finalist in kappa , semi finalist in the KO tournament but ended the season League Champions was a lovely season guys and I’m very proud of each and everyone of you !!!!❤️🏆🙌🏾💫⚽️

I never feel more alive than when I am coaching the positive impact I have on a person life ignites a flame in me to bring out the best in them while also bringing out the best version of myself,coaching is not a job for me because I love what I do it’s a blessing to me because it what I love to do ❤️⚽️
