This Open House also marked the unofficial celebration of Water Lilies’ 5-year anniversary — a milestone we’re honouring a little later this year, but one made even more meaningful by launching this incredible new chapter.

✨ A new chapter begins.
What you see here is more than a space — it’s the start of a brand-new journey for Water Lilies Bermuda. And now, I finally get to share it with all of you. ✨
This year quietly marked 5 years of Water Lilies — a milestone I didn’t fully get to celebrate in June, after an incredibly difficult season for my family. But today, with a full heart, I can finally honour it properly… because our next chapter is here.
Introducing Water Lilies at Rosewood Explorers Club, the newest expansion of our company and our biggest leap yet.
What began as a one-woman swim school has grown into a fully developed children’s programming provider offering:
🎨 Creative arts & activity sessions
🏝️ Seasonal camps
🎒 After-school experiences
🌿 Explorers Club drop-ins
🎉 Family events & weekend programs
…with so much more to come.
This moment wouldn’t be possible without:

16 countries, one passion: teaching the world to swim 🌍💦
Day 1 of the International Swim Education Conference in Cartagena, Colombia 🇨🇴 brought together incredible leaders shaping the future of aquatics — the heart of our growing .
Hosted by Lulú Cisneros and Jesús Ilvánover Restrepo Sánchez of Educación Acuática, the day set the tone for connection, leadership, and shared purpose.
Miren Oca (Ocaquatics – Miami) reminded us that strong swim schools start with strong teams — empowering people, celebrating relationships, and leading with heart.
Krissy Bartlett (Swim Kids) shared the importance of compassion and patience during transitions, meeting each child where they are.
Margarita Kontzia (Ydria Baby Swimming – Greece) — empowered us to use holistic, child-centred learning through gentle guidance, music, and flow.
Wayne Po***ck (Chair, International Swim Schools Association) spoke on branding with intention — shaping culture through values, visuals, and communication.
Each story reinforced why we do what we do: because swimming isn’t just a skill — it’s a connection, a confidence, and a community that spans oceans.

Water Lilies is attending our very first conference this week with .swimschools, our accrediting body, and in beautiful Cartagena, Colombia!
We’re thrilled for this incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside global leaders in swim education. The insights we gain will directly support our mission to help our swim community thrive like never before.

As we welcome 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible year of growth, community, and accomplishments. Here’s what we achieved in 2024:
💙 Accreditation: We became ISSA-accredited, reinforcing our commitment to delivering world-class swim instruction.
👶 Little Lilies: We launched our parent-and-me group lessons, fostering connection and water safety for Bermuda’s youngest swimmers.
📍 Expansion: We grew to offer lessons across multiple locations, bringing quality swim programs to even more families.
