βWhen one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.β β Jacques-Yves Cousteau
Born June 11, 1910, Jacques Cousteau spent his life opening a window into a world few had ever seen.
Through every expedition, film, and discovery, he shared the wonders of the ocean with the world.
Because he believed the ocean belongs to all of us, and is worth protecting.

From vibrant coral reefs to historic shipwrecks, Bermuda's underwater ecosystems deserve protection.
We are proud to support the Bermuda Dive Site and Protected Moorings Program, an initiative helping protect coral reefs, historic shipwrecks, and marine habitats while promoting safe and sustainable diving.
With 47 buoyed dive sites and 30 protected under law, these durable mooring systems help prevent anchor damage and reduce pressure on some of Bermuda's most valuable underwater ecosystems.
Together with the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo supported by Bermuda Zoological Society and The Government of Bermuda, this partnership demonstrates how collaboration can protect marine biodiversity for generations to come.
