Sandys Boat Club is a private members club located in Mangrove Bay, Sandys, Bermuda So on September 10th, 1937, The Sandys Boat Club was formed.
In 1934-1935, there was a group of men who would regularly have races between themselves in Mangrove Bay. They thought that they had a good thing going and decided to form a Club to bring others together for sailing, boating and social events. After a weather-enforced break in the racing schedule, the Challenger II crew made an epic return to the water, securing two wins and a second-place finish in postcard-perfect conditions.

After the opening race day in St George’s Harbour, Challenger II sits tied at the top of the standings alongside Contest on 9.25 points.
Plenty of racing still ahead, but SBC has come out fighting on day one. Let’s keep the momentum going. 💪🏽🔵🟡
