ANNOUNCEMENT:

Dear teammates, families, friends and all those whom we serve,

As many of you know, I have dedicated my time, energy, personal expenses and heart to build our Brazilian Jiujitsu and Mixed Martial Arts community here in Brunei; to provide high quality instruction in a clean, positive and welcoming environment. As a coach and an active competitor, I am proud to say that we have amassed more than 200 medals since 2011. Thus, I hope to continue that legacy in the future.

However, recent events have made it clear that the stakeholders (existing and future) of Busiido Martial Arts and Fitness and I do not share the same core values anymore. It is with great disappointment that I announce that we have severed all ties with Alwee See Seng Kiat and Busiido, dismissing our affiliation with the company and its facilities.

As such, ALL our programs will no longer be operating in Busiido (Kiarong).

Moving forward, I am pleased to announce that we are now known as KHALIFA MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. Khalifa, in its simplest form, means Leader. With that said, we aim to be the leading Brazilian Jiujitsu and MMA program in Brunei Darussalam and the S.E Asian region.

We would like to reassure you that we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure a smooth transition to the new gym. Please bear with us while we work to relocate, renovate and reorganize to better serve your training needs. The new gym will include more services and classes, such as beginner friendly programs for kids, teens and adults, MMA fighters program, boxing and fitness programs which I will be sharing more about in the days to come.

In the meantime, I will be teaching BJJ classes at Wolfpack, Tutong. We are also open for any feedback to suit your schedule. Both positive and negative in order to give us room for growth.
