I want to introduce you to Carly. 🤍

She walked into my yoga class in Howell one day. By the end of that same day, she had booked a plane ticket to Mexico. (Her words: “I booked a fu***ng plane ticket to Mexico dude LOL.” I love her.)

Then she actually got on the plane (one of her biggest fears, Jenn M-Kba thank you for holding her hand🤣)

Travel scared her. Planes scared her. The jungle scared her. She went anyway. For four days in Tulum, she sat with herself in a way most people spend their whole lives avoiding. She jumped every fear, and she came out with so much light.

And she didn’t stop there. For an entire year, she has shown up for this practice with a level of dedication I have rarely seen. On the mat. In the breath. In the hard, quiet moments when it would have been easier to walk away.

The photos show the outside, but what moved me most is what happened on the inside. In her words, it’s been “a cellular level change.” Her nervous system, her relationship with her body, the way she meets her own life.

I want to be clear: I didn’t do this. Carly did. I just got the honor of a front-row seat ❤️

Carly, I am so proud of you. Thank you for trusting me, and for letting me share your story. Watching you come home to yourself has been one of the greatest gifts of this work. 🤍 AND you have your kids practice with you !!

The other day someone asked “ what will I get out of this training?”

I thought, what a brilliant question with such a giant answer 🧠

The truth is entering a teacher training, will bring you to union. You will learn more about yourself than any other space. You will dive into what it means to be in union with you and your body, you and your spirit, and you will receive a mental clearance that will take you to the deepest level of alignment

I don’t think any yoga teacher has an identical path, maybe we have similar similarities, but our alignment has all taken us to different spaces

I love when someone reaches out to me and they say “ i’m not a yogi, I’m not flexible, and I’m actually really scared to walk into a yoga class” BECAUSE that gives me the opportunity to show them how powerful the practice is… and that they can connect to the yoga class without having their legs tied behind their head

My yoga practice has always advanced in my most Steihl moments, the ones I actually couldn’t move and had to explore how expensive yoga really is…

The year to half I spent healing my nervous system, dealing with psychosomatic symptoms, and rewiring my brain was also the same year and a half. I was not able to move…

This is why I created a school where we could study the true art of yoga and breath, how they work together, and how they are practice applicable for all❤️
