Essa mãe se fez vulnerável na frente dos filhos e, ao fazer isso, deu a eles a mais poderosa de todas as mensagens: que qualquer pessoa pode aprender qualquer coisa em qualquer estágio da sua vida.

Como pais, somos os primeiros professores de nossos filhos, somos nós a quem eles geralmente recorrem quando querem aprender algo. Mas e quando chega aquele momento em que eles querem aprender algo que nós mesmos não sabemos? A resposta natural seria: pagar para que outra pessoa os ensinasse. Mas você já pensou no que seus filhos podem aprender ao ver seus pais aprendendo algo novo com eles?

Além do incrível momento que passaram juntos aprendendo uma nova paixão, seus filhos também terão uma memória para toda a vida cada vez que pisarem ou verem um skate.
E no caso da família da Heloísa, eles terão grande orgulho em dizer que aprenderam a andar de skate com a mãe.

Celebrating 10 years of our skate longboard school we created this film, 'The Girls of Guanabara' with world renowned skateboard filmmaker, Brett Novak.

Supported by Nike e adoro FARM this film features an all-female group of skateboarders and represents an important part of our purpose as a longboard school - to make skateboarding inclusive for all.

We witness incredible longboard dancing manoeuvres combined with a level of flow and style that few male or female skateboarders in the world can muster.

Shot amongst the breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro, where our skate longboard school was born, the film immerses into the vibrancy of Brazilian carnival.

This film is an ode to the liveliness and creativity that makes Rio de Janeiro one of the most unique places on the planet, and where we are proud to call our home.

It's time to shine again

Our new video directed by talented North American director Brett Novak will be released on December 4.

We are a Longboard School specializing in teaching adults.
We teach individual and group classes in Rio de Janeiro, London and Lisbon.

One of the greatest joys of teaching longboard classes to adults is that we get the opportunity to encounter a huge variety of different people. We’re really lucky to have students that, as much as they inspire us as humans, they also push us further in our teaching with their dedication and effort to learn.

One such person is Anna, in her 40s, she decided to learn to longboard after successfully dedicating herself to a number of physical activities in the past including Olympic weightlifting.

We’re so proud of all the effort and progression that she made on the longboard from complete beginner to longboard dancer in a handful of sessions!

Our classes are held in Victoria Park or in North Greenwich. All protective equipment and longboard are included.

London Skate Longboard Classes.

This is one of our recent students Inka. Like many of our students she always dreamed about learning to skateboard as a child, but it wasn’t seen as a ‘safe enough’ activity for a little girl. Now she’s in her 30’s, she learnt to skate longboard after one 3 hour class with us, and the smile on her face just says it all!
