Lately after talking to some ex clients I need to spread this information: What makes difference on people’s body is NOT the “powerful training” or “miraculous diet” or whatever big promises you hear…Bear in mind there ain’t no such a thing as a free lunch babe!!
The key is DISCIPLINE, not that discipline in theory that you just watch “influencers” talk about, not the one you ONLY follow, but the one you should CHOOSE for YOUR LIFE PUTTING INTO PRACTICE, not seeing as a suffering but a freedom, the good rules for your life for your good sake!
I can’t work out for my online training clients!! I can’t stop drinking or using “drugs” for you… I can’t stop eating fatty food for you…As a trainer I can help you reach your goals faster and more efficiently but I need your commitment!!
Discipline takes you far and distinguishes successful people from others, you have to understand life is not only about pleasure, to get something you really have to make sacrifices, for everything there is a compromise! Why do you waste your time watching people’s lives? Why not spend this precious time thinking of your goals and strategies to achieve them? Do people around you contribute to your success or are their only “fun distractions” that makes you get more and more away from your goals?
Now you may think…”well, Raquel,but having a disciplined life is boring”…boring? But since when you think life should be all the time exciting? Come on, you are an adult and should embrace it, behave like an adult and take all responsibilities of life which include lots of following rules that have to be done and so on… Spare some time to think what you really want for your life, think about it, think and after deciding write in a paper your goals in big letters(haha),then write the pros and cons of living in a life that takes you towards it,and write the pros and cons of your life now without any goals taking you maybe to some dull direction…you may have a “pleasant” life but it’s not taking you anywhere near where you wanna be….so,let’s change the direction?!ok,after knowing all the cons now you realize that it isn’t gonna be easy,you know the reality,you are an adult but you are smart enough to understand that without discipline,without working on it EVERY SINGLE DAY you won’t go far….this is applicable to every area of our lives:vbusiness,love,family,work, etc,all areas require you determination and focus if you want anything whatever it is it requires you lots of work and time!! See discipline as a freedom, face it as a good challenge,that you can control and not be controlled, start trying to use less your social medias for example, use this time for something more productive like working out or spending more time with your family or beloved ones, or to sleep at the right time, or to learn something new, or to change bad habits, etc….
You MUST go to the gym even when you are tired, even when it’s too cold, even when there are many limitations..you MUST study even when you are sleepy,even when you think you aren’t able to learn any subject,…I wanna tell you,once you start doing the thing that must be done even when you really don’t feel like, in the middle way you see you can do, you gotta finish your workout even that day you didn’t wanna do anything,you gotta finish reading, you gotta eat that “bland healthy food”,yes,and afterwards the excitement of accomplishment comes: “wow,I did it”….then, you will see…You have to go even when you don’t want,don’t stop,don’t let anything stop you,you can play with the discipline and use it for your favor!
At the end, I can just help you to get the body you want if you REALLY want it, if you really want it you will do everything for yourself, you won’t mess up yourself! To get something is not that hard, the most difficult is to KEEP it as it requires discipline and resilience..Be your motivation, don’t put others this pressure, OTHERS CAN’T DO YOUR THINGS FOR YOUR!
I wish you focus and discipline! With them you can reach all your goals!
